I'm so excited... we go to camera tomorrow on Happy Trails Photography. It's my first scripted series and I'm thrilled to have the support of Bell Fibe Channel One and PEI Production Fund and CAVVO! We've got an amazing cast and team!

Lunenburg Doc Fest was fab. this year and I had some great meetings and got to hang out on a yacht. Very bougie! Congrats to Stewart, Walter and the gang for pulling off another festival.

Cinnamon rolls is wrapped and is in the capable hands of CBC and their editing team. We plan to debut the doc in December. Thanks to everyone who contributed to the film and to the participants.

Had a few great shoots with people who were near and dear to Erica Rutherford. It's always lovely to meet such interesting people.

Exciting news, my comedy series that I wrote has inked a deal with Bell Fibe Channel One! It's called "Happy Trails Photography" and it will shoot this fall on PEI. Amy Sobol will co producer and direct with me. Thank you Paul Gardner!

Happy Spring! The birds are back on PEI! And I have good news: "Dance With Me" has been nominated for a Golden Sheaf Award. I look forward to the awards at the end of May! Thanks to the jury, CBC Atlantic for giving me a chance and to my participants!

I've started off the year with great news from the Hot Docs-Slaight Family Fund. Scott Dobson and I have received development funding for "Lee Aaron: Test Your Metal". Yay! Big props to the org and jury! We are getting our hair gel out!
